Medium: Photography, Experimental
Revisit developed from a series of documentary photographs taken during the exploration of significant childhood environments. These photographs on their own re-captured emotional qualities in which presented themselves during their capture. Environmental spaces not only are the stages in which experiences take place, but they also are able to carry emotional responses to those who were present. Using various chemicals to disrupt the surface of each photograph, once printed, the images captured begin to display what exists beyond its surface. This process shares the same relationship in which we do as humans with our surrounding environments.
